One of my best friends from Bayonne, Dawid Strucinski, was recently jumped, mugged, and beaten into a coma by a group of 13 individuals. You can see a news story here. He recently has woken up and is making baby steps of progress all the time now. He was moved out of the ICU yesterday and is currently in a rehabilitation center, but is still in pretty bad shape. The reason I’m writing about this is because we are trying to do all we can to help his family afford the medical expenses.
We have a website set up online where people can donate any amount of money to help. You can visit dawid.chipin.com if you’re interested in donating. He is a great kid, one of my best friends, and his family really could use any help we can give.
