My “Jersey Shore” Post:
Two things this post will not be:

2: Very Practical- I’m about to tell you how fun it is to visit the shore and it’s early November right now (so remember this for the summer!)
A few years ago I photographed a travel story for Country Living Magazine about a weekend get away to the Jersey Shore. I had been to the shore a few other times but hadn’t had the chance to see much. This project was all about experiencing the shore and photographing it. If you live in New York City or Philly the shore offers a great multi day get away close to home.
Most of the towns on the shore have their own boardwalk. The food is good, drinks are plentiful, the beach is nice and their are many places to see live music. Lots of salt water taffy to eat around every turn. The Kohr’s Frozen Custard is a must have treat. Some of my favorite towns include; Asbury Park, Belmar, Pt. Pleasant, Seaside Heights, Surf City and Beach Haven.
Next summer, when the city has you beaten down, take a trip to the Jersey Shore. I promise, you won’t get in a bar fight or have your hair pulled! That just happens on TV.
